Browse the MakerWorld library and find a model you like. Click the "Print" button to add it to your print queue. You can send the model directly to your 3D printer or download the G-code file for manual printing. Make sure your printer is connected and the filament is loaded before starting.
Go to the Publish section and select "Upload Model". Choose your STL or OBJ file, add a title, description, and tags. You can optionally add print settings and photos. Once submitted, your model will be reviewed and published within 24–48 hours.
Use the search bar to find models by keywords, category, or creator. Click the heart icon on any model card to add it to your Favorites. Access your saved models from the Favorites section in the sidebar. You can organize favorites into collections for easier browsing.

A print configuration is a set of slicer settings (layer height, infill, supports, etc.) optimized for a specific model and printer. Creators share these so others can get the best results without trial and error. Configurations are attached to models and can be imported directly into your slicer.
After printing a model successfully, export your slicer settings as a configuration file. In the model page, click "Add Configuration" and upload the file. Add notes about your printer and material. Other users can then one-click apply your configuration for similar setups.
Slicer software converts 3D models into G-code. A print configuration is a saved preset of slicer parameters for a specific model. Think of it as a recipe: the slicer is the kitchen, the configuration is the recipe. You still need a slicer to use a configuration, but the config tells it exactly what settings to use.
Configurations are printer-specific. A config for a Bambu Lab P1S may not work on an Ender 3. When browsing configurations, filter by your printer model. If none exist for your printer, you can adapt a similar config by adjusting bed size, nozzle, and material in your slicer.
The support system rewards creators when their work helps others. When someone uses your model or configuration and leaves feedback, you earn support points. Points can be redeemed for premium features, discounts, or donated to community projects. It's our way of saying thanks for contributing to the 3D printing community.
Earn points by: publishing quality models, sharing useful print configs, receiving likes and saves, getting positive reviews, and helping others in the forum. The more your work is used and appreciated, the more points you accumulate. Check your balance in Profile → Support.
Support points unlock: priority uploads, featured placement, extended file storage, commercial license discounts, and exclusive Maker Lab access. You can also donate points to support open-source projects and community events. Points never expire.
Maker Lab is a premium space for experienced creators. It offers advanced tools: bulk upload, analytics, early access to features, and collaboration with brands. Members get a verified badge, custom profile themes, and priority support. It's designed for creators who publish regularly and want more control over their work.
Maker Lab has an application process. You need: at least 10 published models, 100+ total likes, and an active account. Apply from Profile → Maker Lab. Our team reviews applications weekly. Alternatively, reach the support point threshold for automatic invitation.
Exclusive benefits include: verified creator badge, unlimited storage, advanced analytics, early feature access, custom profile URL, collaboration opportunities with brands, and priority customer support. Members also get a say in product roadmap through the Maker Lab council.
The Maker Vault is your personal library of models, configs, and collections. Organize projects into folders, add private notes, and keep everything in one place. It syncs across devices so you can access your vault from desktop or mobile. Think of it as a digital toolbox for your 3D printing journey.
Create folders, add models by saving them to the vault, and use tags for quick filtering. You can set folders as public (shareable) or private. Drag and drop to reorganize. Use the search bar to find items quickly. Export your vault as a backup anytime from Settings.
Share a folder by generating a public link—others can view and download without an account. For export, choose "Export as ZIP" to download all files in a folder. Shared links can be set to expire or require a password for sensitive projects.
Commercial members can use models for selling prints, mass production, and business purposes. You get legal clearance, no per-model fees for standard library items, priority licensing for premium models, and a certificate for compliance. Ideal for print farms, Etsy sellers, and product designers.
Subscribe to Commercial in Profile → Membership. Choose monthly or yearly billing. After payment, your account is upgraded instantly. Some premium models may require an extra license—check the model page. Cancel anytime; your license remains valid until the period ends.
Personal use: print for yourself, gifts, non-commercial projects. Commercial use: sell prints, use in products, mass production, advertising. Without a commercial license, selling prints violates our terms. When in doubt, check the model's license or contact the creator.
Create a campaign from Profile → Crowdfunding. Set your goal, rewards tiers, and timeline. Upload a prototype, video, and description. Submit for review. Once approved, share the link and promote. Backers pay upfront; you deliver rewards when the campaign succeeds. We take a small platform fee on successful campaigns.
Campaigns run 14–60 days. All-or-nothing: if the goal isn't met, backers are refunded. Creators must have at least 5 published models. Prohibited: reselling others' work, unrealistic goals, misleading descriptions. Read the full Crowdfunding Guidelines before launching.
Browse active campaigns, choose a reward tier, and click "Back this project". Enter payment details. You'll receive updates from the creator. When the campaign succeeds, rewards are delivered as described. If it fails, you're fully refunded. Support creators you believe in!
